The IT Governance Institute®
) is a nonprofit, independent research entity that provides guidance for the global business community on issues related to the enterprise governance of IT assets. ITGI was established by the nonprofit membership association ISACA in 1998.
ISACA membership and its certification programs are globally accepted and recognized. In fact, independent studies continue to demonstrate that holding an ISACA designation enhances professional recognition, credibility and earning potential.

Recognizing that IT assurance professionals are faced with different requirements and different types of audit and assurance assignments, ISACA developed the IT Assurance Framework (ITAF).

Founded in September 1975, the North Texas Chapter is one of more than 190 ISACA chapters worldwide. We serve professionals in the north Texas region sponsoring numerous events each year to provide members and guests opportunities for professional development, continuing education, and networking with colleagues from a wide range of employers throughout the area.
