The Senior Compliance Business Analyst will ensure organizational compliance by interpreting regulatory mandates and legislation, perform independent research of regulatory guidance, identifying impacts operationally, disseminating guidance as appropriate to business owners and create, review, and distribute departmental reporting statistics. This position will act as a Project Manager and primary Compliance Stakeholder to company initiatives by participating in business partner meetings, gathering, reviewing and approving, business requirements, and facilitating user acceptance testing through the entire project lifecycle. The Senior Business Analyst will require the ability to interpret and translate technical requirements in workflow and narrative business requirement document format. The Senior Business Analyst role will also provide support to the Compliance Program, Corporate Policies and Procedures, and Vendor Management. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participate in new product development by attending project planning meetings, providing timely communications to project stakeholders and development teams, and participating as needed in product testing.
•Review marketing, advertising, business partner, and customer-facing communications to ensure compliance with the numerous regulations that govern all divisions.
•Review corporate policies, including Standard Operating Procedures, and workflows for both hardcopy manual and company intranet site, and perform regular updates as needed.
•Assist with the analysis and interpretation of regulatory compliance requirements.
•Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of various Compliance Program initiatives, driving consistency in the way information is managed.
•Keep abreast of latest compliance and risk legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities pertaining to Think Finance and its mission.
•Assist in providing Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management guidance to business units.
•Other duties as assigned
Requirements Experience and Education:
•A baccalaureate degree, combined with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Compliance and/or Internal Audit Department or a minimum of 8 years related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
•Six years in a business analyst or project management role and experience in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls as integral components of compliance program requirements.
•Experience in a consumer financial environment preferred.
•Advanced skills with the following Microsoft products; SharePoint, ACL, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project and Access.

•Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to potentially present compliance related topics to large groups including internal senior business management and external regulatory authorities.
•Demonstrable experience as a business analyst, project manager, technical writer or desktop publisher.
•Ability to build and maintain effective relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment.
•Well organized, detail oriented, able to manage multiple competing tasks, efficient and able to work independently and think critically.

•Working knowledge of, and the ability to understand laws and regulations, and an understanding of the local regulatory process.

•An understanding of operational risks and controls, and audit procedures and the ability to independently conduct compliance reviews of products and processes.
•Ability to critically review both internal and external (including customer-facing) communications to ensure that they fully comply with all pertinent laws and regulations and do not result in significant compliance related risk. Must be able to review the processes in the broad context of the overall business, including an evaluation of risk/reward tradeoffs, and the ability to anticipate issues not yet of obvious direct impact.
